Take a Ride. May is National Bike Month.

Get outside, be healthy, be safe. The East Bay Bike Path is a 14.5-mile paved rail-trail in Rhode Island. The path begins at Providence and India Point Park, crosses the Seekonk River via the George Redman Linear Park and Washington Bridge, and continues southeast to Bristol along the shoreline of Narragansett Bay. It’s a great ride!

Be sure to also ask us about U-Locks and don't forget to register your bicycle with us!
Safety Tips
The weather is getting warmer and you are probably thinking about opening that window. Unfortunately, this creates an opportunity for homes to be entered via the open windows. Before you do, remember:
  1. Use good judgment on leaving windows open, especially on the first floor. Window screens can be pushed and cut to gain access.
  2. Some windows have locks that prevent the main window pane from being fully opened. These are good to use in securing an open window. You can also invest in some inexpensive window alarms that peel and stick to windows and fire off a screaming alarm when rattled.
  3. Remember to close your windows when you leave, even for a short period of time. If you have window stoppers, make sure you are putting them to use.
