My Dear Hubby of 33 years is with the Lord!

Dear Praying Friends,
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I write that my dear hubby after a quick bout with Covid went to be with his Saviour whom he has served almost 40 years on the mission field. Our hearts are broken.  After his transplant, he had such big plans and desire to do so much more for the Lord!
He had planned for our whole church to attend a Family Camp and before the camp started, he had started with symptoms of Covid.  He also planned for our Bible Clubs and Special Sunday.  Even though he could not participate, our whole church put in an extra effort to make their pastor proud.  We had a phenomenal week. We had 6826 in attendance and 5401 souls saved. On Sunday 3117 people were preached to or were witnessed to with 2375 souls saved. The total results were 9943 heard the Gospel and 7776 souls were saved. No wonder the devil unleashed all of his anger on my hubby. Our church people and the children of the Annabel de Vallejo Home worked very hard to make their pastor proud of them. My husband went to Heaven on April 14th, 2021.
His funeral was at the First Baptist Church of Hammond, IN on April 24th at 2:00 PM.  He was placed  to rest at Memory Lane Cemetery on Monday April 26th.
Many have wondered what my plans will be.  My husband and I had talked extensively about what I should do in the event of him passing before me.  It was both our desires for me  to stay on the field and continue working with the Annabel de Vallejo Home and the ministry here.  The children need me, and I need them as well. My husband had many desires of continuing to produce Sunday School material, and he had many more series that he had worked on.  It is my desire to finish these and other projects that he had wanted to do.  Our church is in good hands and the ministry will continue.  I plan to stay actively involved in winning the lost of Mexico, and I covet your prayers and continued support.
Although I would not have chosen my soulwinning in this manner, 3 men that brought the oxygen tanks, 1 lab technician, 1 nurse, 3 doctors, 2 funeral home directors, and 1 uber drive have all accepted Christ as their Savior. People everywhere need to hear the Gospel and even though my heart is breaking, someone needs to tell them the Good News of salvation.
I can not thank you enough for those who have prayed and are praying for our family during this time.  Thank you for each of you who have sent extra money to help with all of the expenses.  My heart is full of gratitude to each of you who have made it possible for my dear hubby to have been a missionary for almost 40 years.
                                 Because of Him,
                                 Mrs. Joy Murillo

PS Please pray for May 1st and 2nd. One of the last things my husband planned was a city wide evangelistic campaign.  As of now 11 other churches have committed themselvves to spend an extra effort these 2 days to fulfill Acts. 8:4 and go everywhere preaching the Word.
