Dog Owners Corner

Are dog parks a good idea? No, but sometimes they are the only option. Going into a park with unknown dogs is always a risk. There is a chance your dog could catch a disease, parasites or be injured by another dog. Here are a few things to consider if dog parks are the only option you have for exercising your dog:
 Go to the park during slower times when there are less dogs.
 Always observe the dogs that are there and do not enter the park if there are dogs that are acting inappropriate.
 Bring a water bowl and water for your dog.
 Make sure your dog is fully vaccinated and on parasite prevention.
Hey you, I'm Freddie!
I gave the service dog path a try and just between me and you, I'd rather just be a pet. I am sweet, young dog looking for a committed family. I want to be the only fur guy getting your cuddles, I will do best without siblings. If you want to learn more about me email us at fosteradopt@canineswithacause.org. I'll be patiently waiting!
