"Treatments in Pediatric Epilepsy"

Shilpa Reddy, MD, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Neurology, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, will be leading a CME presentation for CPF members on Monday, May 17 at 6 PM discussing treatments in pediatric epilepsy, with topics including intractable (drug-resistant) epilepsy, classifying different types of epilepsy and epilepsy syndromes, non-medication treatment options, and when to refer to a comprehensive epilepsy center.
Presentation is approved for CME and MOC Part 2 credit for live attendees.

Michael Baron, MD, MPH, Medical Director of the Tennessee Medical Foundation (TMF), will be leading a webinar presentation on Tuesday, June 15 at 6 PM discussing strategies to help manage physician stress, burnout, and mental health, including covering the resources available through TMF.

~ CPF 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting! ~

CPF will be holding its Annual Meeting for the full membership - Vanderbilt pediatric faculty, fellows, residents, and community pediatricians and providers - on Tuesday, May 4 from 6:30 to 8 PM in the virtual format. We've got an entertaining program planned for the evening that will feature:

This year, CPF's Annual Pediatric Administration Meeting (PAM) - the education portion of the Annual Meeting - is being held as a monthly education series from March to June with topics geared toward helping practices and providers in their management and operational decisions. Dr. Michelle Fiscus, Medical Director, Vaccine-Preventable Diseases and Immunization Program, TN Dept of Health, will be leading a webinar presentation on Thursday, May 13 at NOON, discussing the current state of COVID-19 vaccines for children and what providers and practices need to know to be prepared for the months ahead.
