Market Update

Market update for this week can be found here.

SNB Board Staff are beginning to seek volume estimates from producers for the various products you plan to ship for the upcoming season.

These volume estimates are very helpful, as we begin to communicate and enter into negotiations with mills for new Board contracts/purchase agreements for this upcoming year.

Product and volume estimates can be entered here.

Woodlot Owner Survey

The New Brunswick Federation of Woodlot Owners (NBFWO) invites all NB woodlot owners to to participate in an online survey.  This survey is part of a three-year project that is working to increase the capacity of NB's woodlot owners to be able to adapt to a changing climate.  The project is supported by Natural Resources Canada's Climate Adaptation program and the Government of NB's Environmental Trust Fund.

This is the second survey for the project (you may also have participated in the first one in spring 2019).  By completing this survey, you will help provide an updated understanding of the values, priorities and knowledge that influence management of NB's private woodlots.

If you have any questions about this survey, please contact Patricia Rooney, NBFWO Project Coordinator at nbfwo.project@gmail.com.  The survey should take about 20 - 25 minutes of your time to complete.
