Pastor Resource

"This special PODCAST brings the Coopers’ (Santae & Kris) and Davis’ (Duane & Julie) together to discuss heart pounding questions about this racially charged society. Duane & Julie humble themselves as a white couple and asks Kris & Santae, an African American couple, about parenting children during this time, the trauma they feel daily as blacks in America, & how can whites be supportive during this time. These two families come together to help people grow, learn, & also laugh together through suffering. This episode is a reflection of how God can be glorified through multi-cultural friendships and be fruitful despite the racial unrest in America. We pray it helps you ‘Grow in the Classroom of Grace.’"
Pastor Lindsey Book Club!

This Spring Pastor Lindsey will be hosting a BOOK CLUB for both men & women focused on Gentle & Lowly: The Heart of Christ For Sinners & Sufferers by Rev. Dane Ortland.  This was voted as one of the best books of 2020 by a number of reputable sources. Purchase your copy & read with our MCC community!
If you are interested in taking part in this book club, reach out to Pastor Lindsey. We will plan to meet occasionally to discuss the book outdoors at local coffee shops.
Sermon Discussion Clubs

Continuing throughout the spring, Midtown will host a number of Discussion Clubs--gatherings intended to strengthen our community as we continue to navigate Covid.
We have designed these groups to be:
· Flexible (some will meet virtually and others in person)
· Focused (unifying the congregation as we seek to apply truths from each week’s sermon)
· Faithful (a way to shepherd you where you are)
