Bear Fruit That Will Last: Celebrate!May holds many anticipatory moments in our community life. We celebrate our high school graduate Taylor Evans on the same day we hold in prayer all mothers and mother figures. We take our Spring scholarship offering to further support our students in higher education. We enjoy the gift of new members joining our faith family on Pentecost Sunday. We offer thanks and recognition for our worship leaders during a challenging year of ministry. And we celebrate big milestones in one another’s lives. All of this celebratory energy is guided by Jesus’ command, “Abide in love, so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete.” John 15:11 |
Join us Sunday in worship to hear the Good News in John 15:9-17 as depicted in the WordArt above. Community celebrations is the fruit of love that will last. |

We Grieve the Loss of Beverly Huckins |
Our prayers are with the entire Huckins family as they mourn the loss of their beloved matriarch Beverly Huckins. We hold in love Robert, who would have celebrated 70 years of marriage to Bev this August, as well as their children who feel the tremendous weight of grief. We will host a funeral for Bev here in her church home on Monday, May 10th at 3pm. A committal service will be held at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis the following day. |

Mother’s Day Altar FlowersCecil Bassett offers the flowers on the altar today in honor and memory of all mothers. Judy Bassett, wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away one year ago today. May God bless the tremendous gifts mothers bring to our families and communities. |
If you’d like to contribute fresh flowers for the altar, contact Christy in the office or Patti Jennings from our altar guild. |
