We're reaching out to all our water resource friends involved with an organization that uses volunteers to collect data about rivers, lakes, wetlands, groundwater, or other water resources. Please take a few minutes to complete a survey (link below). Thank you to those who have already completed the survey below. We want to hear from as many fellow water resource groups doing volunteer monitoring as possible, so have decided to extend the deadline to complete our survey to Friday, May 7.

The Ohio Watershed Professionals Association, in partnership with Hamilton SWCD, the Miami Conservancy District, Cleveland Water Alliance, and Xylem, is administering this survey. Their goal is to discover ways that groups can learn from each other and to find ways that groups can collaborate across Ohio to strengthen the activities and outcomes of groups that collect data about our water resources. Please forward this message to anyone you think may be interested.

The results from this survey will guide a discussion on June 9, via Zoom, between Ohio water resource citizen science groups. The purpose of this survey and meeting is to fuel discussion for effective collaboration between these groups. If you haven't registered yet, sign up at the link below!
