Please pray for all of the students receiving First Communion during the month of May.  We ask that God bless each of them during this special celebration of the Eucharist.

FIRST YEAR EUCHARIST AND CONFIRMATION REQUIREMENTS FOR 2020-21 SCHOOL YEAR

PACKET DUE MAY 16

This is a reminder that in lieu of weekly attendance we are requiring First Year Eucharist and Confirmation students to complete the packet that was picked up with the fourth quarter materials.  This packet will count as the first year of preparation and allow the student to move into the second year of preparation.

If we do not receive a packet from a first year student, that student will be a Year 1 student in the 2021-2022 year.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL UPDATE

Vacation Bible School will not be held at Good Shepherd this summer.
We are exploring possibilities for family-friendly events. Stay tuned for more information!

GOOD SHEPHERD ROSARY WALK ON THE FIELD
Every A-frame features a different stained glass depiction of a Mystery of the Rosary from around the world. The photograph are by Father Lawrence Lew O.P., a Dominican priest from England.

Traditionally, each mystery is prayed on a different day of the week:
Joyful Mysteries: Monday and Saturday
Sorrowful Mysteries: Tuesday and Friday
Glorious Mysteries: Wednesdays and Sundays
Luminous Mysteries: Thursdays

How To Pray The Rosary pamphlets are on the counter in the commons or you can click here for Rosary Information from the USCCB.

You are welcome to pray the Rosary on the field!
