Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islanders in tech

This month we're centering our programming on the AAPI community. Join us as we explore the lived experiences of folks in the AAPI community, support local AAPI businesses and organizations, debunk the model minority myth, and more.

Here's what's coming:

  • Live podcast recording with Anna Madill, the Founder and CEO of Avenue, a B Corp digital marketing agency for purpose-driven companies.
  • Virtual Happy Hour on May 18 with APANO, centered on the Asian American and Pacific Islander experience in Oregon.
  • Follow us on social as we spotlight past and present AAPI folks in tech all month.

We also want to recognize The Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon's (APANO) tremendous anti-racist programming for BIPOC and allies throughout the month.

And finally, join us for a panel discussion around debunking the model minority myth on May 26th.
