Summer Reading 2021

Summer Reading signup will run from June 1-July 31 this year. Get ready to enjoy prizes just for reading and lots of events and activities for all ages. Click to download a Summer Reading guide now or get more info at wellscolibrary.org/summer.

Kids and Families

Silly Safaris - Summer Reading Kickoff

Help us kick off Summer Reading with a Silly Safaris LIVE Animal Show. Join us at either session (Tuesday, June 8: 4:30 pm or 6:30 pm) and enjoy both facts and fun for the entire family. There will be a variety of reptiles, mammals, birds, and bugs for an experience that everyone will remember. Special guests from the audience will join each animal for a game that teaches about the natural world. The special theme for the show will be "Animals in Fairy Tales." No registration needed.

Summer Events and Story Sessions

Registration for summer events, Wee Read, Toddler Time, Story Hour, Family Story Time, and Ossian Storytime starts on May 17 at 9 am. Program sessions will then begin on the week of June 7. Register on our Library Event Calendar, at the library, or call 260-824-1612 (Bluffton) or 260-622-4691 (Ossian).

Teens

To-Go Kits

Grades 6-12. Each kit is free and contains all the supplies you'll need for a fun activity or craft. Pick up starting the first of the month. Available while supplies last.

May: Scavenger Hunt

Among Us

Grades 6-12. Can you find the imposter? Maybe you are the imposter! Join us as we play the popular game together as a group. Registration required (space is limited and is waitlist only, right now).
