This session will provide an extensive overview of what the 10A report is and the benefit it presents to General Practice.  

10A reporting provides a way of ensuring all patients' immunisations status is recorded correctly.  

This session includes a practical, real time demonstration on how to request and extract the report, along with information on analysis of data to ensure integrity and how to correct errors.  

Discussion will also include the National Immunisation Calculator and the recent changes to mandatory reporting of flu vaccines and uploading of COVID-19 vaccine administration.

General Practitioner Suicide Prevention & LGBTIQ Affirmative Practice

This webinar is designed to provide a brief introduction to LGBTIQ+ inclusive primary care. Delivered by Dr Ruth McNair and Psychotherapist Trudy Brunton, this webinar will be clinical focused including case studies and the internalising of homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in LGBTIQ communities.
Under the Gippsland PHN’s Place-Based Suicide Prevention Trials project, LGBTIQ people have been acknowledged as an at-risk population for suicidal ideation; suicide attempts and deaths by suicide. One of the key objectives of the project is capacity building for Gippsland GP’s with regards to LGBTIQ inclusive practice.  Outcomes: 
  1. Define commonly used terminology in order to provide respectful inclusive care to clients in the LGBTIQ+ community 
  2. Know support methods for rural LGBTIQ+ patients accessing confidential and affirming health care services 
  3. Understand the specific health issues of the LGBTIQ+ community 
  4. Know the impacts of discrimination on LGBTIQ+ patients including their mental health and risk of suicide
  5. Understand the key methods of gender affirmation care for trans and gender diverse patients.

Depression Dilemmas

Depression Dilemmas is a new interactive workshop that tackles areas of treating mood disorders that clinicians can find particularly demanding. Using case studies as the platform for learning, the program explores strategies to tackle depression in the context of alcohol use disorder, late life depression and depression that is failing to remit despite seemingly adequate treatment.
