We have been so, so lucky on Vashon during this time of COVID - wouldn't you agree?
With the incredible, unfaltering support of VashonBePrepared and the Medical Reserve Corps, the island was one of the few, small communities to design and start their own COVID-19 testing sites. And Mukai Farm & Garden is proud to have offered the place where it all started. Especially as the virus swept through communities of color and the Asian Pacific Islander communities. As all public facilities were closed, Mukai included, we offered its drive through as a safe testing location.
