- Required mushroom permits: Bring if you have - Willamette/Deschutes/Freemont/ Umpqua permit. You may now acquire over the phone! More info here!
- # of adult participants: 10, children accompanied by an adult are welcome, no dogs/pets
- Meetup time is 9:00 am, expect to be out most of the day. You may leave early after notifying the foray leader.

Your foray leaders are -
 Matthew Johnson (pictured left) first started foraging for mushrooms in the mid-’80s and attended Freeman Rowe’s Biology of Mushrooms class at LCC in 1989. He has been a CMS Board Member since 2005 serving in a variety of officer positions. Matthew assists with the setup of the Mount Pisgah Mushroom Festival display each year and leads mushroom walks at the Yachats Mushroom Festival. As the current CMS Foray Coordinator, he has been leading quite a few forays.
Matt Mathiason (pictured right) spent a lot of time outdoors growing up in southern Oregon. After moving to the Eugene area in 2016 he discovered CMS and quickly joined. He has since been a sponge attending the monthly presentations, going on forays, reading mycology related books and volunteering at the annual festival. Matt decided to put his talents as a software engineer to use and volunteered to contribute to the web site in 2020, joining the board in February 2021. Outside of being outside he has collected too many hobbies to list (or have time for) and enjoys time spent adventuring with his wonderful wife Eugena.
