#GrowingLeaders Vlog by Jerry Russell

Holy Boldness

Sometimes you need to step out in life with a bold act of faith

Ever feel like the odds are against you? Dig into holy boldness just like Jonathan and his armor bearer did.

Jerry Russell, Washington Conference's vice president for finance, tells this Bible story with lessons for us today in this week's #GrowingLeaders vlog.

Good bye, Good bye, be always kind and true

After years of faithful service to little people at camp meeting, David Candler is retiring this year from Beginners 2 (a program for ages 2-4).

Fortunately for all of us, Candler along with Charlie Lains recorded one last set of programs about heaven to share with children during this year's hybrid camp meeting.

For Mr #ASongforEverything: what's your favorite memory of his kid's program and/or your favorite children's religious song?

Golf for a Cause

Washington Indonesian Church searched for years for their own church home and found a location in Granite Falls. Most of the church's 100 members live in the Everett area, so this represents a 25+ minute drive. The church is hoping to raise $20,000 to purchase a transport van to help older church family members attend with greater ease and reassurance. You are welcome and invited to participate in a golf tournament fundraiser on May 30!

"Which churches are reopened?"

Most Adventist churches are reopened for in-person services with many hybrid options offering virtual ways to connect.

1) Browse the LATEST list of churches to see who has in-person or virtual worship services. Links to church websites, Facebook Live and YouTube are included. WIthin the county's recommended capacity, there is room for you to come and worship!

2) Check weekly plans with your local or neighboring churches. Service plans are typically shared on the church's website, Facebook, or e-newsletter by Thursday or Friday each week.
