The Rotary Action Group for Peace (RAGFP) is pleased to celebrate and support the Youth & Peace in Action (YPA) initiative of Rotary Zones 33 - 34 as the largest local peacebuilding effort in Rotary’s history. Focused on peace education, training and project mentoring for high school students, youth service club members and teachers, YPA is putting young people in the center of building and sustaining a culture of peace. 

In acknowledgement of their central role in advancing the YPA initiative, the RAGFP will recognize Zone 33-34 Rotary Clubs participating in YPA, as “Peacebuilder Clubs.” Peacebuilder Clubs are a Rotarian movement of nearly 300 clubs creating energy and momentum for peaceful conflict resolution around the world. The Peacebuilder Club program is designed to enhance Rotary International’s mission of “advancing world understanding, goodwill and peace” through the promotion of programs and projects that align with our organization’s Seven Areas of Focus – in particular, the first: Peace, Conflict Prevention and Conflict Resolution.
