Highest Peak Gala Scores! 

It wasn’t the noisy, boisterous, back-slapping, and hugging sort of night that it usually is, but Alberta Alpine’s Highest Peak Gala and Canadian Rockies Ski Racing Hall of Fame online event on April 27th was still a hit. In so many wonderful ways!

The community still came together to celebrate the induction of five amazing life-long ski racing contributors to the Hall of Fame, to hear live interviews with Alberta athletes Cassidy Gray, Brady Leman, and Ski Cross Crystal Globe Winner Reece Howden, and to raise a little money for Alberta Alpine Athletes in Silent Auctions, 50-50 draw, and donations. The action-packed hour was paced by the ever-amazing Host Kelly VanderBeek, Alberta Alpine boss Pat Gillespie, and Produced by Christopher Colpitts and his capable team. Read more.

AST Athlete Journal: Tora Hoshizaki

Hello Alberta Alpine followers! It’s Tora Hoshizaki here with another athlete journal. I hope everyone is enjoying the last of spring skiing and preparing for the summer time. With our two week break I decided to go back to Edmonton and spend some much needed time with my family. It’s been really nice being back at home after being away for so long. Watch now.
