Old Field South needs you.
Every year, there is a call for nominations to the OFSPOA board. And sadly, every year there's the same response: silence.
I get it. We're all extremely busy. And, many of the people in the community have already done their part and volunteered in years past. And so, it's time for a new batch of residents to get involved.
Don't like what we do? Get involved and help shape the direction! There are 135 families in OFS. Just imagine what we could accomplish if we worked together for a common goal!
The previous call for nominations email seems to have caused some confusion. Some of you reached out to me and asked, "Is the entire board stepping down?" No, the board is not stepping down. My apologies for not being clearer.
Most desperately, we need Communications Co-chairs and a Corresponding Secretary. But, truth be told, we welcome all interested parties. Just let us know what your interests and strengths are and we will find an opportunity for you to contribute.
Interested in helping but not interested in making a formal commitment? That's ok too. Just let us know and we will work to find mutually agreeable terms.
The older generation here in OFS has done its part for years. It is now time for the next generation to step up and take the torch. Please join me.
