Martin Luther Families,

Thank you for your tremendous support during this school year as we have had to implement many mitigations and procedures as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have been blessed to maintain in-person learning for the entire school year. I want to share with you an important change that our Martin Luther Leadership has reviewed and will move forward on for the rest of the school year. The Oshkosh City mask mandate was overturned last Friday, May 14. We as a school community have followed our state and local mandates when it comes to masking all year and our leadership feels that it is now the responsibility of parents to make the decision for their families as we close out this school year as to whether or not their children will be masked at school. The CDC as well as our local health agencies still advise the wearing of masks, but Martin Luther School will no longer be requiring this mitigation for our students or staff. We still encourage the use of masks but will leave that decision up to your discretion. This decision is based on the readily available access for all sixteen and older to receive the vaccine, the city mask mandate ending, as well as the continued decline in positive rates within our community. Should you have any questions please contact our school leaders below.
