WEEKLY UPDATE
For Viva Village Members and Volunteers
IN OUR COMMUNITY
Memorial Day Commemoration
Monday, May 31, 10:30 am–12:30 pm at Veteran's Memorial Park
SW Watson Avenue and SW 7th Street

THPRD invites the community to the annual Memorial Day commemoration at Veteran’s Memorial Park. The event will be much smaller in scale than in previous years, but no less impactful for our community.

American Legion Beaverton Post #124 members will be onsite to serve as ambassadors, safely handing out small American flags & poppies along with hosting a POW/MIA information booth.
At noon, a flyover by the West Coast Ravens and a single bugler playing Taps will commemorate the day.
A photo remembrance display honoring any service members who have passed from our community will be printed on A-frame banners and placed throughout the park for self-guided walk-throughs.

Readers Choice—Best of Beaverton
Show your appreciation for Beaverton. Vote for your favorite organization (Viva Village, of course) and other favorite businesses. List the name of the organization or business and why you like it. Click HERE to vote online or email your vote to brg@cedarhousemedia.com.
Sponsored by The Beaverton Resource Guide, a local monthly publication that serves as a venue for Viva Village outreach to the community.
