The Brainerd Public Library was established in 1899 and was a founding member of the Kitchigami Regional Library system in 1969. The Library's mission is to bring people, information, and ideas together to enrich lives and build community.

Please join us via Zoom for Hostas: From Mini to Giant with Master Gardener Jennifer Knutson. Hostas are the stars of the shade garden and range in size from miniature to giant. Cultivation information will be provided on best practices for planting, care, pest resistance, and other factors important to the success of growing hostas. Suggestions for using hostas in the landscape will also be given.

The Friends of The Brainerd Public Library book sale is open for shopping, at the Westgate Mall, on Tuesdays between 9 am-3 pm. No appointment is necessary. Masks are required for entry.
