Monday Funday!

Let's spark some joy for the craft of Instructional Design and eLearning.

Today I'm sharing a story about what's probably my favorite a-ha moment. It's when I learned the first step of Dr. Ruth Clark's Scenario Based Learning model.  This video focuses on the Trigger Event.  My story shares my own experience with that type of event and why I'll never forget it.

FREE Storyline sample and how-to videos

I recently uploaded a free sample file for anyone interested in using characters in their software training programs.

There are now a total of 5 different videos showing you WHY to use characters in a software training project and HOW to use the free Storyline file that's available.

Check them out in the FREEBIES section of eLearningBlends.com

Positive Thoughts for the Week

I started this newsletter to prove to myself that there is always room for joy. Even in the midst of a pandemic... even though extremists stormed the capital the same week that my mother had  stroke. I believe that we can always find joy.

This is episode 19 of this experiment and 19 weeks later, I find myself later feeling happier, healthier, and full of more joy. All week long I find myself excited to share some of it with you. Please feel free to share my joy with others and keep lots of it for yourself.
