Zoom Family Service Trinity Sunday
May 30, 5 p.m.

Dear Junior Church families,

I am writing to let you know that Trinity Sunday (May 30) will be my last day as Child & Youth Minister at St Olave’s. As some of you may know, Jared and I were married on Saturday, May 1. We have since relocated to Kingston where I am enrolled in a full-time clinical pastoral education course at a local hospital as part of my on-going discernment with the Diocese of Ontario. I am very excited about this new chapter in my life but I will greatly miss being part of the St Olave’s community.

It has been an immense privilege and pleasure to serve you as the Child & Youth Minister and to be able to learn alongside the Junior Church class. I want to thank you all so much for welcoming me into your parish home. I deeply regret that I did not get a chance to say goodbye in-person but I am hopeful that a safe reunion can happen in the not-too-distant future (perhaps by then we can even enjoy a slice of cake, or two!). I will be praying for the Junior Church programme and for all of you as you continue to grow in knowledge and love of Christ.

One more Zoom Family Service!
Before I go, I would like to invite you to join me on Zoom for a Family Service on Sunday, May 30 at 5 p.m. We will be using the Order of Service for Young People found on p. 622 of the Book of Common Prayer. The text, including the appointed Psalm and Lesson, will be shared on-screen during the service. This short interactive service is a great introduction to the language and form of the BCP. If your child(ren) would like to attend, as well as read part of the service, please email me to let me know. All are welcome!

I look forward to seeing you there.

In Christ,
