Ngā mihi mahana e te whānau - warm greetings to our Bradford whanau!

We have a super exciting week ahead, with the much anticipated School Council Children's Market Day on Friday afternoon (fingers crossed for good weather!).  Below is information from the council about the day:

Friday 21st May - School Council Children's Market Day!
- Children can bring along a bag of old toys/books they would like to trade/exchange with other children. (bring them along on the day)
- Bake Stallthe council are seeking donations of baking from home to arrive on Friday morning,  items that can be sold singularly would be awesome  e.g. iced biscuits, cup cakes, or small bags of fudge would be perfect. Please let us know if you are able to donate.
-- The all time favourite  'Sponge the Teacher' will be running; 1 ticket for 3 throws!
- Activities, games and baking will be $1. To save children carrying money around, there will be a ticket system.  Children can purchase tickets in Friday morning and use these in the afternoon - $5 for 5 tickets   $10 for 10 tickets
- The bike track will also be open during Market Day for children to use
- A mini talent fest will take place during the afternoon, children can 'sign up' in the foyer and should bring along what they need on the day
- Pre-Order Sausage Sizzle $2 (order at this link by Wednesday May 19th)  https://forms.gle/BxLCofFPEnYtsrPi7
It's going to be a super fun day!  A big thanks to our student council for organising.  Funds raised will go towards playground swings.

Pink Shirt Day is celebrated throughout the world on Friday May 21st to recognise our diversity, promote kindness and inclusiveness and put an end to bullying.  Children are encouraged to wear pink on Friday and bring along a gold coin donation which will be donated to the Mental Health Foundation.
