Dear partners,

We just wanted to give you a quick update on campaign materials, the new infographic for MH Day 2021, as well as some reminders and announcements for a couple of exciting upcoming events!

Great news: (almost) all MH Day 2021 social media materials are available to download now! This includes 13 beautiful motifs in English that are ready-to-use on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter as well as selected motifs in French, German, Hindi, Spanish, and Portuguese. Arabic versions will be added by May 19th. There are also posters (English only) for those of you who are able to organise on-the-ground events.

Over the past few years, we have made progress towards our joint vision of a world where no woman or girl is held back because she menstruates. However, progress is slow. In order to achieve our joint vision by 2030, we can’t afford to wait for the pandemic to end. We have to step up action and investment in menstrual health and hygiene NOW!  

Right now, we are at a crossroads. If we continue with business as usual, then we won’t succeed in ending period poverty and stigma by 2030. To accomplish this, we need to significantly step up action and investment NOW!

WASH United and MH Day will be hosting the free online screening of Pandora’s box, which is sponsored by DivaCares/Diva International and The Case for Her. 

Free screening period starts: May 17th 17:00 CEST / 11:00 EST

Last, but most certainly not least, we would like to thank everyone who joined us for the shoot of this year's global campaign video! We had so much fun preparing and recording the video with you all and can’t wait to share the result with everyone very soon!
