How have unhealthy commodity industry practices evolved through the pandemic?
During the COVID-19 pandemic, many businesses have launched activities presented as socially responsible responses to the crisis. These initiatives can have complex implications on health and policy, particularly where businesses’ core products and activities are harmful to health. Our preliminary report, Signalling Virtue, Promoting Harm, captured many such examples from around the world.
One year on, we are now seeking to document how corporate strategies have evolved as the pandemic has progressed amid changing policy contexts and efforts to build back better. You are invited to be a part of this project! If you have seen any examples of relevant industry activities, please share them in our new survey.
