 ACTION ALERT STATE:

Legislative Wrap-Up- Express our support, disappointments, and expectations.

Many excellent bills were passed to secure freedoms and elections in our state. We should let our elected officials know we appreciate their hard work yet we expect more from them next session.  Sadly, in a year that most states passed prolife bills our state did not make it a priority.  (Lifenews.com declared: “Year of the Unborn Baby!” States Have Passed Dozens of Pro-Life Bills to Save Babies from Abortion.)

4.  SB 1028 Supporting the amendment Equal Athletic Opportunity in Florida.

Thank you for preserving the integrity of women’s sports; boys who self-identify as a girl should not, under any circumstance, be allowed to compete in girls’ sports.  The performance gap males have over females is insurmountable. This gap allows boys to have a significant competitive advantage in sports while increasing the potential for girls to be injured...

5. HB/SB 1 and HB 2059 Preventing Riots and Safety of Religious Institutions
Every Floridian should feel much safer and sleep a little more at ease with the passing of the Combatting Public Disorder and Safety of Religious Institutions bills.  It is unfortunate some people fail to see the difference between a peaceful protest and riot. Schools and other institutions that prohibit guns actually ‘invite violence’ because shooters realize they are defenseless. This bill protects these institutions from being targets. Both bills help to make our communities much safer.
