Mindful Mark-Making
In-Person Play-Shop

Monday June 7th 12:00pm - 2:30pm
It's been a long time since we have been able to play together in person! This Play-Shop was very popular in its online incarnation, so I will be teaching it for a limited number of (vaccinated) students at my home classroom in a couple weeks. For those of you who took it online, I will have some additional materials and ideas to work with if you'd like to do it again.
Mark-making has been part of human activity for about as long as there have been humans, and we all have our distinctive ways of doing it. If you'd like to discover your own vocabulary of marks, and experiment with different materials and surfaces, this is the Play-Shop for you!
Since this will take place indoors at my home, for now I request that only fully-vaccinated students attend, just to keep everybody safe.
As always, cost is $25, and scholarships are available if you need one.
All materials are included.

Looking ahead: Zoom or in-person?

Planning ahead for further Play-Shops this summer, the next two I want to teach are Playing with Constraint and
Playing with Color.
I'm also working on ideas for a two-day sort of mini-retreat called
Playing with Nature.
I could do either of those first two online, if there is still need, or could offer them in person, or both. Please let me know! I'd like to start teaching mostly in person again, but if there are folks who still prefer Play-Shops on Zoom, I'm happy to do that too.
