Veg Box Update

Our staff and volunteers have had a busy spring so far sowing seeds for the coming growing season. We have a wonderful range of vegetable seedlings coming along nicely in our greenhouses and polytunnels, and we are all looking forward to the new growing season ahead. Unfortunately we’ve had the coldest and driest April for some time and this has affected the progress of our produce for 2021. Many of the seeds that have been sown directly in the ground have not yet germinated or the seedlings are still very immature. We therefore don’t anticipate having enough produce to offer our veg box sales until the beginning of June.
We do however have lettuce, salad leaves, spinach and some kale available. If you would like to order any of these, please get in touch with us via email or by telephone on 07546 437272.
