The Age of Cryogenics?

 Issue Number 94
Dear CryoPeople,
Last month (April) saw launch of BCC Cryo Training. The BCC Cryogenics Course ran over 4 half days involving around 20 Solid Gold Experts, addressing the full works of subjects, was a massive sell-out with over 200 participants, and is guaranteed to be repeated!  Big Congratulations to BCC Chair Beth Evens and Andy May who Chaired the Organising Committee.
Is the demand for Training an indicator that we are entering The Age of Cryogenics as its enabling role penetrates more and more applications?

While we’re on training, this link from CSA covers Short Courses and Educational Opportunities, and The Safe Use of Cryogenic Technologies is a new publication by Robert Done available from IoP Publishing.

Before we go, news just in from the BBC has a gleaming eyed Dr Greg Brittles predicting "mind-bogglingly powerful magnets."

Brought to you by the B Cryo Team
