SALUTE TO GRADS

Carley Ives | Fashion Studies (BA) '21

"I know it’s cliché, but you truly can do ANYTHING you set your mind to! It is going to take a lot of work, but if you are passionate and persistent, you can conquer just about anything!"

Darby Jack Gustafson | Art and Art History (BFA) '21

"Support the art and events that your friends and faculty are creating themselves. Looking at your own work for too long can get boring. Looking at your friend’s work never gets old."

Oliwia Osiecka | Interior Architecture (BFA) '21

"Especially for interior architecture students: stay on top of your schedule and keep pushing through. It will save you a lot of stress at the end."

Angel Smigielski | Acting (BA) '21, with Minors in Poetry and ASL

"My Columbia experience was life-changing, something that I’ll always be grateful for."

Davis DeFur | Fashion Studies, Fashion Merchandising (BA) '21

"Overall, my time here at Columbia has really shown me how much I value my education, and to make the fullest of any situation, because before you know it the opportunity will have passed you by."
