Upcoming movie night!
The movie “Seaspiracy”, released to Netflix recently, has garnered immediate controversy. In the documentary, environmentalist filmmaker Ali Tabrizi sets off on a journey to discuss the world's oceans, and in doing so, finds severe social and environmental challenges. Many individuals and organizations have acclaimed the film for addressing these important issues, whereas others have criticized the portrayal of issues and scientific accuracy of the film. On Thursday, May 20th, the Arizona Science Policy Network is hosting a panel discussion of the documentary, with several ocean and sustainability experts at ASU.
