Summer League Update
Attention to all of those who have registered to participate in Session 1 of EUPA’s summer league. As the weather begins to turn I know we are all anxious to get out there and toss some discs around, however as it stands we have yet to receive go-ahead from the provincial government to proceed with our programming, even with COVID-19 precautions in place.
As such, we wanted to send a quick reminder to all of you with our plan of action and timelines, should we not be able to run Session 1 due to the ongoing restrictions.
-
If and when the Government of Alberta announces that adult recreational sports are allowed, EUPA S1 will begin one week later.
-
Refunds will be issued on a pro-rated basis for any weeks that do not happen.
-
The league end date (July 1st) will not change.
-
If adult recreational sports are not allowed by June 7th (for a June 14th start), Session 1 will be cancelled.
-
More information with regard to S2 will be posted on the EUPA website by June 4th, but it is our plan to continue offering registrations contingent on the lifting of restrictions.
Until we know more, please continue taking all precautions to ensure you and your community are safe. We highly encourage all those who are eligible to become vaccinated to do so in advance of a return to playing Ultimate. Until then, EUPA wants to extend its thanks to you for being so patient, and if you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact us by reaching out to admin@eupa.ca.
