► The Carers Service are running a Dementia Awareness Workshop on Thursday 27th May from 1 to 2.30pm. Please drop them an e-mail if you would like to register or learn more.

Blackburn Eagles FC are hosting a football tournament and are looking for volunteers to help out with parking management, setting out pitches and litter picking this weekend at Blacksnape Playing Fields. There are two shifts (
8-11.30am and 11.30am-3pm) on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th May.

Grants for small women's groups and organisations to support the development of innovative ways of empowering women in their local area, and to build organisations' capacity.

Global's Make Some Noise - closes Friday 28th May
Grants for small charities working to achieve change for disadvantaged communities.

National Lottery Grants for Heritage - closes Friday 28th May
Grants to support the heritage sector to strengthen its recovery from the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the medium term and to build back for positive change across the UK's heritage.

NFU Mutual Charitable Trust - closes Friday 28th May
Grants to large charitable groups and organisations for projects that further the objectives of the NFU Mutual Charitable Trust, particularly those that educate young people in rural areas and relieve of poverty in rural areas.

Pink Ribbon Foundation - closes Friday 28th May
Grants to breast cancer charities that assist people affected by breast cancer and organisations that work on breast cancer research and prevention.

Co-op Local Community Fund - closes Sunday 30th May
Grants for small, locally based voluntary and community groups to support projects which benefit local communities around Co-op food stores and funeral homes.

Adamson Trust - closes Monday 31st May
Grants for voluntary and community organisations and charities to help with the cost of holidays or respite breaks for disabled children (aged 3 to 17 years) with physical, mental, or emotional impairments.

Arnold Clark Community Fund - closes Monday 31st May
Grants for charities and local community groups who need financial assistance due to the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.

National Survivor User Network (NSUN) - Side by Side Fund - closes Monday 31st May
Small grants to peer support, mutual aid or self-help groups to connect remotely, prepare to move their activities to face-to-face, or make their group more sustainable.

Philip Bates Trust - closes Monday 31st May
Grant for individuals, voluntary and community organisations undertaking projects that encourage and develop artistic interests in young people.

Sport England - Toyota Parasport Fund - closes Monday 31st May
Grants for existing clubs and organisations to support disabled people as they return to previously run activity (or to enable previous projects to resume delivery) when the coronavirus/COVID-19 restrictions are relaxed.

Biffa Award - Partnership Grants Scheme - closes Tuesday 1st June
Large grants for not-for-profit organisations that are looking to improve a built or natural environment of regional or national significance and located within 15 miles of a significant Biffa Group Limited operation or active Biffa Landfill site.

Changemakers Programme - closes Tuesday 1st June
Funding and specialist support for social entrepreneurs to help them develop bold ideas and sustainable solutions that will help build people's financial resilience to life shocks.

Heart Research UK and SUBWAY Healthy Heart Grants - closes Tuesday 1st June
Grants for not-for-profit organisations to support new, original and innovative projects that actively promote a healthy heart and help to prevent, or reduce, the risk of heart disease in local communities.
The BwD Community Fund, which we on behalf of the Borough Council, the Brian Mercer Trust and the Eric Wright Charitable Trust, is open for applications.
Organisations can apply for grants of up to £1000 under the scheme.
