Enjoy Our Staff Favorites!
It's time again for some of our staff favorites here at Comfrey Corner of Heath. Through this bi-weekly feature, we hope you're getting to know Comfrey Corner's staff and products a little better! Remember, when visiting the store, the yellow smiling heart next to a product means it is a true favorite of our staff.
Debbie enjoys the Spry natural peppermint-flavored gum! It's sugar-free, gluten-free, vegan, and the flavor is strong and lasts a long time! Spry is sweetened with Xylitol, and has no aspartame. It has no artificial colors, either, and is also non-GMO. But mostly, Debbie likes it because it tastes good!
Marilyn loves the wildflower raw honey from Latshaw Apiaries. Not only does is taste great, but Latshaw is a local apiary and so it helps her combat her allergies, as well!
Cathy P. loves the cassava root chips by Plant Snacks. They are naturally flavored with beet and rosemary, and dusted with a vegan "goat-cheese" -- flavored by nutritional yeast and sea salt. And, as all good chips are -- they are addicting!
Tracie likes KAL nutritional yeast for its cheesy taste and protein value, but it has less calories than cheese and more nutrients. It's gluten-free and non-GMO, and is loaded with minerals. She adds it to eggs and soups, and sprinkles it on popcorn!
