Chicago Kyiv Sister Cities Committee Established The Marta Kolomayets Scholarship Fund

A scholarship fund for young women to study journalism at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA) School of Journalism was established by the Kyiv Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International in memory of Marta Kolomayets (1959-2020), with an initial donation of $2,000.

The Poltavets Social Work Award was established to honor the memory of Professor Volodymyr Poltavets, a prominent psychiatrist, academic, and educator, who in 1994 founded the Kyiv-Mohyla School of Social Work.

Kyiv-Mohyla School of Law announced The Futey Family Scholarship for law studies. Scholarship recipients will be selected by a Scholarship Commission on the basis of academic excellence, financial need, and proficiency in the English language.

Attorney Halyna Traversa established the Volodymyr and Lidia Synenkyj Scholarship Fund
Attorney Halyna Traversa has established an endowment for the benefit of the Kyiv-Mohyla Law School to honor her parents, Volodymyr and Lidia Synenkyj.  Annual proceeds from the endowment shall in perpetuity be used for scholarships and fellowships at the Law School.
