Our purpose simply put; loving God, serving others, doing no harm.

Dear Church Family:

My garden in my yard is fully planted and the Church Garden will be planted this Saturday, May 15. These are just a few signs that Spring is definitely here! As the Covid-19 crisis begins to diminish (keep praying and keep practicing Covid safe precautions) we have much to be thankful for. In all of our struggles God has placed his hand upon our lives and upon our church. He will see us through to the end of these challenging days.

Sunday, May 16 we will gather for worship at Mt Bethel Church at 10 AM. The service will also be live streamed over Facebook. We will worship our great God by singing the hymns:
All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name, Breath on Me Breath of God, and It Is Well with My Soul. We will also be learning a new Praise Song by Casting Crowns entitled: Glorious Day (Living He Loved Me)

I will continue my Spring Sermon Series on
Thy Kingdom Come!  I will ask the question once again, What do Kingdom Believers look Like? This week we will talk about the power and presence of the Holy Spirit available to every believer for Holy living. Our Scripture passage is taken from Acts 1 & 2. Please join us for worship on Sunday morning and then join us for our Prayer- Connect-Time at 10:45a following the Worship service.

I encourage you to get out and enjoy the beauty of God's creation as it unfolds before us this Spring. Take a walk, take a bike ride or a car drive in the country to view the beauty of God’s creation. It’s essential that we take time in life to put our cares and anxieties behind us and relax in God’s love and grace. Peter wrote,
“Cast all your cares upon Him because He cares for you!” I Peter 5:7. Our cares are lessened as we focus on God’s goodness.
Spring Blessings!  Pastor David

Last Summer, even in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, we had a great Church Garden and we made significant contributions to the Neighbors, Inc. Food Shelf. I’m sure our fresh produce helped out many families during that difficult time. Thank you for your hard work last summer!
We will be helping many families once again this summer!!  Please let me know if you would like to serve on the Church Garden Team this Summer.
The time for Spring planting is upon us!! We will meet at the Mt Bethel church garden on Saturday, May 15 at 9a. If it is raining on Saturday, May 15 we will move the planting to Sunday, May 16, at 12 noon following the worship service.  Once again we will make an impact to feed the hungry and help those in need.  Spring Blessings! 💐🦋🌷.   Pastor David
