Wade Boggs Athletic Achievement Award
Commissioners honored three Hillsborough County student-athletes with the 16th annual Wade Boggs Athletic Achievement Award, recognizing their achievements on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. This year's winner is Zach Ehrhard of Wharton High School, pictured above with Mr. Boggs. Zen Hiatt of Alonso High School and Kipp Kochera of Riverview High School received Honorable Mentions. Mr. Boggs' outstanding Major League Baseball career resulted in his induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. He lives in Hillsborough County.
