Full Chest & Breast Massage as part of an overall wellness massage
If you are reading this and a client of mine, many of you already enjoy this option, but for those that may be unaware, within full body massage l offer the option of including full, therapeutic chest & breast massage as part of an overall wellness full body treatment. On a specialty level, I have seen a number of breast cancer survivors who may be seeking physical treatment for scarring, etc., or come for emotional well being - to feel reconnected or whole again (a couple of the reasons often cited to me).
I have been offering this option, as part of my Lomi treatment since the beginning. It was a part of my first trainings overseas, and seemed very normal and natural. My first formal training with a specific focus on breast & chest massage here was in 2017 with a colleague, Barbara Helynn Heard, who has made it her mission to "normalize" this work in all 50 states.
As well, under the direction of Elaine Stillerman, I have acquired specialized techniques for incorporating breast & chest massage into pregnancy massage and post-partum treatments.

Carrying on the Legacy of Barbara Helynn Heard, LMT
In May 2021, my friend, and colleague Barbara Helynn Heard, LMT announced that she was going to step away from teaching and massage practice to devote more time to living end enjoying life. Barbara is an amazing person and an inspiration. She was one of the first people I met professionally as I contemplated embarking on my Lomi journey. Her kindness and spirit are an inspiration. Barbara has made is a mission of her later career to normalize full chest and breast massage within the context of a therapeutic treatment. She created the first class in Seattle on full chest and breast massage and when she offered me the opportunity to carry on with this teaching, I said yes.

Course Description
A two day course on incorporating full chest & breast massage into your work.
In this class students will learn massage of the ribcage, chest and breasts to support healthy breathing and general stress relief within full body wellness massage. Students also learn how this massage can benefit clients living with breast augmentation, breast reduction, mastectomy, fibrocystic breast tissue, and other non-cancerous breast conditions.
The chest and breast massage taught in this class is intended to be easily integrated into a holistic, full body session to relieve tension, stress and pain, and to increase our clients’ ease of movement.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED
I am looking for someone who would be willing to help me update some of the photos in the class manual. This is a handout that students receive. As I am taking over the class from another instructor I would / need to replace the images of her working, with me working. These are largely anonymous, close up images of the torso showing techniques. A link to some of the current images can be found here.
I am looking for :
- Any typical client that would be comfortable with being photographed anonymously and confidentially.
- A cancer survivor with a mastectomy, preferably on breast removed. Perhaps you know someone and can share this

VENUES WANTED
As we re-emerge from Covid slumber and I do my best to re-establish a teaching schedule, I could use your help. I am looking for facilities to co-host all of my courses, this could be locally, regionally or nationally.
