Welcome to End in Mind's

Sending Thanks &
Staying Sharp

New This Week:
Your support makes a difference · Building a better brain ·
Calling all caregivers · Outdoor sunset meditation
A huge thank you to all of you who contributed to End in Mind during GiveMN's recent SpringForwardMN campaign. We are a small but mighty nonprofit, and your support makes a significant difference in terms of what we're able to offer and accomplish. Your generosity will help fund a new arts-based, serious illness and end-of-life conversation starter kit featuring 12 Minnesota artists AND a television program on caregiving. If you didn't get a chance to donate, it's not too late to help us meet our goal.  Donate now
We're all about living your best life, and we like and affirm the five tips recently shared by neurosurgeon Sanjay Gupta, who authored the new book "Keep Sharp: Building a Better Brain at Any Age." They may not be entirely surprising, but they definitely bear repeating. Which ones have you already embraced and which ones do you want to pay more attention to?  Read article with tips
If you’ve been a caregiver to a loved one, we’d like to talk to you! We are working on a special project focusing on caregivers. Would you fill out a survey or consent to talk to our founder, Cathy Wurzer, about your experiences? All responses will be kept private. Your feedback will help shape this project. Respond to info@endinmindproject.org. Thank you for your consideration!
May this be true for all of us! It's this very desire that makes us so passionate about living with intention and purpose at any stage of life.

End in Mind takes the universal experience of dying to help you re-imagine what it means to live fully at any stage of life.

Upcoming Event

Grief is one of the heart’s natural responses to loss. We have a tendency to hide our grief, but meditating on grief allows us to feel, process, and acknowledge our suffering. Join Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis on May 26 to be guided in meditation as participants reflect on their grief within a supportive and safe environment. A small altar will be created for attendees to place a memento that represents the person, idea, or thing that is being missed, and they will then be led through the meditative process of holding their grief, honoring it, and offering space to let it go when ready.
