We have a name! The word "Mosaic" serves well an artistic, visual representation of the multicultural community internationals in Odesa can choose to be a part of! Each one of us is unique and beautifully created by our Father, and when placed together, side by side, we see a living work of art come to life as we function together in community!
We have begun to use our new facility already! We launched with an Easter Celebration (celebrated May 2 in our area of the world), collaborating with another Global Worker and a group of believers who chose to gather to worship after restrictions were lifted at the beginning of the month (after many services having been online or had limited attendance). It was a beautiful celebration of the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ!
We have also launched our Youth gatherings on Friday evenings, and have had eight teens participate! Jeremy is facilitating a study for the next few weeks that addresses how we can know that there's a God and how we were created on purpose for a purpose; the problem of evil and suffering; the holiness and justness of God; and challenges we may face as we choose to live life as a follower/believer.
Last Sunday, we were able to put together a mother's day celebration, inviting special ladies to join us at our Sunday gathering! We thank you for your partnership - YOU are a part of what GOD is doing in our city!
Opportunities to GIVE
It is always so exciting to be a part of a brand new work from the ground up. Projects like this allow each of us to give toward something we feel passionate about in order to help establish a brand new faith community. If you feel God leading you to give toward something in particular, below is our growing list of needed items, with some projected costs. Any special giving above and beyond your monthly faith promise can be designated by (1) choosing class 48 in the drop down menu, and then (2) adding a comment such as "shelving," "tables," or "needed equipment" to your givinghere:
Essentially, this space is a blank slate, thankfully in need of very little work, but waiting to be personalized and equipped to host people as we lay the groundwork for our faith-based community to grow and develop. Our hearts' desire is that internationals feel welcome, at home, and at ease in this multi-cultural community. Hospitality is our goal!

SPEED THE LIGHT in action!
We had the opportunity to help our national church friends deliver some food to retired shut-ins on Good Friday!
We are so grateful for our Speed the Light (STL) vehicle given to us to use here in Ukraine through the fundraising efforts of Students throughout Wisconsin and Northern Michigan!
Family Update
We are almost done with school, and had a beautiful Easter and Mother's Day as a family - this month we will celebrate Jeremy's and Tobin's birthday and our wedding anniversary.
Piano and cello lessons have begun for the kids, and we are beginning to prepare for some summer travel and meetings - we appreciate your prayers!
