Dear friends,

This past year has provided ample opportunity to think about news: about what's happening in the world, and how we should respond to it. It's easy, in a very online age, to obsess over (and worry over) what's happening in our communities, our nation, and our world.

But what should we really be paying attention to? How should we imagine and experience time? How does our news consumption inspire or weaken our love for our neighbors?

Join Jeffrey Bilbro and me TOMORROW at 8 p.m. ET for a Zoom discussion of his soon-to-be-released book, Reading the Times.

We'll discuss liturgies of attention, news consumption in light of the Gospel, and what it means to have a "macademized mind."

Jeff will share his thoughts on how Christians inhabit the "tension between kairos and khronos, prayer and the news, divine redemption and the events of history."

We'll also be giving away two free copies of Jeff's book!
