This is it! We made it! The final communique of the year. I am forever grateful for this experience and the lessons I learned. It is most certainly necessary to thank the 2020-2021 Board: Tracy, Jackie, Sarah S., Jess, Sarah F., and Jaime for their constant encouragement and kindness for the last year. It has been a year of growth, appreciation, resilience and benevolence. It included a multitude of emotions and lessons but our Board navigated it with such grace, and determination. I am so proud of all their hard work and their ability to keep things moving forward by thinking outside the box. This year has served as a reminder of how important it is to show compassion to ourselves and others and I hope you felt that in everything we did.
While this is the end of my time on the Board, I want to share my excitement for our upcoming 100th year! Our members are working tirelessly to ensure we have an inspiring and exciting Centennial celebration and I cannot wait for you to hear all the details. Our year will culminate at the Annual Meeting on May 27th at the Delaney House. We are able to have an in person meeting and dinner and I am really looking forward to seeing some of your faces. Thank you for a wonderful year.
Cheers,
Laura Wilson, President
