This Sunday we will celebrate what God has done and is doing in our lives with singing, teaching, storytelling, generosity, and baptisms. Life has been more than a little unsettled for over a year, but God is still doing amazing things and we want to celebrate that! Join us this weekend to celebrate the places where God has been working so we can all be encouraged and give thanks!

Nursery Only This Weekend!-On Sunday, May 30, we will not have full Kids Ministry programming. RVCC Parkland and RVCC Graham will offer nursery for birth to 36 months, and older children are encouraged to go to service with their parents.
We want to celebrate the hard work and effort that went into a tough Senior year. If you (or someone you know) attends RVCC and graduated from High School, College, or Grad School please use this form to let us know so they can be recognized in an upcoming service. We are so proud of all the members of the class of 2021!
Appointed To Bear Fruit: A 90-Day Journey
Beginning July 7, we invite you to join us in this 90-day Summer reading plan. Understanding and meditating on Jesus' teaching and prayers in the Upper Room (John 13-17) the night before He was crucified will reveal God's purpose for you and inspire you to take part in what He's doing. Join us and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you to a life with Jesus that will release unspeakable joy.

Events for Adults & Families
Saturday, June 26 begins at 6:00pm at RVCC Parkland
Though this travelling scavenger hunt is hosted by RVCC Student and Kids Ministries, you do not need to have kids to join this event, just a car, willingness to be goofy, and at least a bit of competitive spirit.
This event with a view is for families and people of all ages! We will open the parking lot at 7:00pm for desserts and yard games, and the movie will begin at sundown. We'll provide an ice cream sundae bar, popcorn, and water, but movie goers will need to bring their own chairs and blankets.
Creative Bible Journaling Workshop for Women Saturday, June 19 11:00am-1:00pm at RVCC Graham Led by Jan Rosencutter
God has wired us all differently, and many of us could benefit from creative Bible journaling as we study to help our Bible reading come to life.In this workshop, Jan will guide you through a four-step process that utilizes the creativity that God has placed inside you to highlight where He is working in your heart. Whether it's through writing, painting, or coloring, come explore a fresh way to engage with God’s Word!
There is no cost, but each woman will need to bring her own Bible, notebook, pen/pencil, colored pencils and/or markers. A practice sheet will be provided, so unless you desire, there is no need to practice in your Bible or to purchase a journaling Bible for the workshop.

Very Best Summer VBS will remind each child that their confidence is in Jesus. Kids 3 years through 5th grade will enjoy a time packed with friends, worship, crafts, and Bible lessons!
Charge Week is for all 6-12 grade students (and their friends!) If students want even more fun, we will also have two daytime events at Defy Tacoma and Tower Lanes Tacoma.
Norm Russell, an RVCC member who attended RVCC Graham, passed away on May 8. He was 96 years old and was married to his wife, Doris, for 75 years. As a former school principal and pastor, he served in church ministry for over 30 years and was baptized in the Jordan River in the Holy Land. There is no memorial service planned and we would ask you to pray for the family, including his son Pat who also attends RVCC Graham with his wife Lil.
