The gospel for Easter’s seventh Sunday is always taken from the long prayer Jesus prays for his followers in John’s gospel on the night before his death, and always includes Jesus’ desire that his followers will be one as he and the Father are one. This oneness is not mere doctrinal agreement or institutional unity, but mutual abiding, interpenetrating life, mutual love, and joy. This oneness is the work of the Spirit whom we have received but also await. Come, Holy Spirit!

Summer Worship Schedule
Worship services this week are:
- 9am indoors with RSVP
- 10am online
- 10:30am outdoor / drive-in
The 10:30 worship service will be led from the outdoor platform as often as the weather allows, giving attendees the choice of drive in or bringing chairs or blankets to sit on the lawn. If weather prevents the service from being held outdoors, it will still be broadcast on the FM frequency for drive-in attendees.

Generations Bible Study
“We often hear about stepping outside ourselves, but rarely about stepping outside our generation.”
Women's Ministry will meet on Tuesday, May 18, for a Bible study looking at the shared blessings that intergenerational relationships bring. “The Journey of Generations“ will be led by Bristol at 1:30pm. The group plans to meet outside, but will move indoors (with face coverings) if the weather makes it necessary. Bring your lawn chair and beverage.

Put Your Name on Zion's Foundation
Christ, Our Foundation
We can call to mind all sorts of scripture and song that remind us of the solid foundation we have in our faith. Even young children have probably heard the song about the wise one who builds the house on the rock. Here's your chance to put your name on that solid foundation at Zion with permanent marker.
Once the sanctuary carpet is removed, come to Zion on and put your signature on the floor. You can add your favorite Bible verse, a drawing, or a prayer that will be a lasting faith reminder.
- Wednesday, May 19, from 5-8pm
- Sunday, May 23, from 8:30-11:30am
[God] set the earth on its foundations, so that it shall never be shaken.
~ Psalm 104: 5

Newsletter Crew is Back!
The newsletter crew is back to gathering monthly to tape and label Zion's newsletter for mailing. Laurie has worked hard to come up with new processes so that the crew can work together safely. Each volunteer (or couple from the same household) will have their own table and assembly kit. The crew meets at 10am on Tuesday, May 25, and will be followed by optional coffee time.
