U13 Draft Camp Nominations now open

The U13 Draft Camp is filling up quick!! The Draft Camp is a development program, as well as a selection event, for athletes to get into the HV U13 Academy for 2021.
Further details can be read here to register. This include some information about teams not being selected last year and therefore no auto entry into particular teams.

Boys - 78/100 spots taken

Girls - 67/100 spots taken
Extra sessions will not be added, so be sure to register ASAP to secure a spot.

Participants have the opportunity to be assessed for selection in the 2021 HV U13 Academy. These are the first steps our young athletes will take in what could be a long and rewarding HV High Performance career.

Club sponsor Marc was at the ground tonight to supply our masters with all the support, braces, tapes, bandages and gels to keep the team running around on the pitch.

Women's only Hockey Ed Coach and Umpire workshop
HV are offering two Women's only HockeyEd workshops, in conjunction with Women's Round. Level 1 Coach Workshop - Sunday 23rd May 2pm - 6pm @ Footscray Hockey Club Level 1 Umpire Workshop - Sunday 23rd May 2pm - 5:30pm @ Waverley Hockey Club

Concussion in Sport Resource- a must read for all coaches, players and managers
The Australian Sports Commission has developed a website and series of supporting resources in relation to Concussion in Sport. The website seeks to ensure that all members of the public have rapid access to information to increase their understanding of sport-related concussion and to assist in the delivery of best practice medical care.
The website contains information specific to athletes, parents, coaches as well as medical practitioners. View the website HERE.
