University of Texas Libraries Patrons,

An upcoming maintenance project by provider of the University of Texas Libraries’ services platform will require a temporary outage of the Libraries’ online resources.

Our service provider will be migrating their major North American data center over the Memorial Day weekend which will impact many North American customers. The migration will result in a complete system outage for up to 24 hours during the following time period: Saturday, May 29, 8:00 p.m. (CDT) - Sunday, May 30 8:00 p.m. (CDT).

UT Libraries’ online catalog will be completely inaccessible during this downtime period. Users will not be able to access search.lib.utexas.edu nor access any of the Libraries’ resources via that platform.

We are taking necessary steps to ensure our established services and routines are minimally disrupted. The service provider has assured its clients that all system integrations and configurations will perform as normal once the new data center is up and running on the evening of Sunday, May 30.

UTL applications impacted by the outage:
UTL applications not impacted by the outage:
Up-to-date service alerts will be posted to  the online catalog and the Libraries’ homepage during the outage. You can stay apprised of the current state of the outage via the Libraries’ Twitter @utlibraries.

We apologize for this inconvenience, and thank you for your patience and understanding.
