United Methodist Association of Retired Ministers (UMARC) is presenting a webinar on the "clobber" passages: six Bible verses frequently misinterpreted as anti-LGBTQ scripture. Rev. We celebrate the election of Rev. Megan Rohrer as bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America’s Sierra Pacific synod. Rev. Rohrer is the first transgender bishop elected in any mainline Christian denomination. Religion News Service reports.

Rev. Erina Kim-Eubanks has written liturgical resources for churches to use in honor of APIDA (Asian, Pacific Islander, Desi American) Heritage Month.
