Arriving at Jenolan and Departing

the route to JenolanNEW - Edith Road is now the only road into Jenolan. If you are driving from the direction of Sydney, we have some NEW maps and directions.

Whether you book a tour, high tea, Chisolm’s weekend lunch or accommodation, pre-booking is absolutely mandatory. To access Jenolan, you must have a valid ticket.

NEW - All our offerings now fit into 3 timeslots per da: morning, mid-day and afternoon. After you arrive at Jenolan, you will need to depart by the end of the latest timeslot that you chose when you booked. This new routine is all about safety.

NEW - Our old carpark is closed. Now, when you park in our upper car park, you will be greeted by our NEW concierge service. Our concierge will check your ticket and direct you to the caves and hotel. You can take the lovely walk (approx. 500m) down to Caves House, passed one of our most photographed formations (Carlotta’s Arch) and there’s a great view of the landscape and Caves House as you walk down.

Or we can drive you down to the caves and hotel on our NEW complimentary shuttle bus service. While you wait for the little bus, you can buy a coffee from our NEW carpark coffee pop-up, or browse our NEW pop-up gift shop. Please note that our bus cannot carry children under age 7, as it is not currently fitted with the correct anchors for child seats/baby capsules. If you have children under age 7, you will need to walk down via Carlotta’s Arch. But to make the walk down (and up) easier, we are happy to take your bags in the bus.

Three stunning caves are open at Jenolan Caves. If you need wheelchair access, please let us know in advance, so we can escort your vehicle down to the caves and hotel.

Now, we just need to point out again - whatever you want to do at Jenolan, pre-booking is absolutely essential. We can let you into the cave/hotel precinct only if you have a valid ticket.

So, although we have had to change the way we do a few things, we have added some tempting new packages, and we know you will love returning to Jenolan, as much as we will love having you.
