The Skyland Workforce Center, along with the Coalition for Nonprofit Housing and Economic Develop (CNHED) and Byte Back, is asking DC to fund computers, internet and technical training for DC residents. We want to ensure that all DC residents, regardless of income or race, have fair access to digital tools and education. The pandemic has made internet access even more important as job applications, interviews, and training are all online.
Will you take the pledge to stand with us, as we fight for equal and affordable access to high-speed internet, technology devices such as laptops and computers, and technology training for underserved communities? You can take the pledge here: https://bit.ly/3w3Dmdw
